DESCRIPTION:The Cary Lions Club's annual Candy Days fundraiser is Friday\, October 8 and Saturday\, October 9 at various Cary intersections and business locations.  Funds raised by Lions Clubs in Illinois help support hearing and vision needs including: $900 for a visual /  hearing impaired child to experience a week of summer camp designed especially for them\; $290 for a child to be evaluated by a specialized ophthalmologist In a low vision clinic\; $500 - $900 per child in vision aides to allow children to better learn in school and enjoy the world around them\; FREE mobile hearing and vision vans in our area to test for early problems to facilitate better treatment.  When you see a Lions vest\, enjoy the free roll of candy or mints and support the Lions mission to assist those with hearing and vision needs.
