SUMMARY:WiM3 Presents: Sleep:The Professional Women's Key to Success
DESCRIPTION:Andrea Ramberg began her career in sleep medicine over a decade ago and currently travels internationally to educate her colleagues and the public on the fascinating world of sleep. She is multi-credentialed in the field as a registered polysomnographic technologist and certified clinical sleep health educator and graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelors in Psychology.\n\n\n\nHer current role as business development manager for North America for MedBridge Healthcare allows her to collaborate with hospitals nationwide to implement the inpatient sleep screening program she piloted while with Northwestern Medicine. The program was featured on the cover of the August/September issue of Sleep Review journal for sleep specialists and is seen as the future of sleep medicine. She currently serves on the board of directors for the BRPT\, the credentialing body for the sleep field\, and program committee to plan the national and World Sleep Congress educational meetings.\n\n\n\nAndrea resides in Northern Illinois with her husband of 15 years\, and two young children. She finds balance by writing and is an avid runner. At the age of twelve she was in a sledding accident that would result in 3 knee surgeries over the course of a year and a half. Despite being told continuing with sports would be unlikely\, Andrea's determination and perseverance carried her to finish the Chicago Marathon in 2016.\n\n\n\nAndrea lives her life with intention\, curiosity\, passion and an unwavering belief one can accomplish anything they set their mind to.
